Funding Available for Restoration on NRCS Easement Properties

The USDA’s Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) has released an Announcement for Proposals for Easement Restoration seeking applications for funding restoration projects on NRCS easement properties.

NRCS is directing money toward the restoration of degraded wetlands, floodplains, forestlands, and associated uplands.  With the exception of Federal agencies, NRCS invites applications from all qualified entities and individuals.  Projects may be up to three years in duration.

$250 million is available nationally, and no matching funds are required.
